Why We Must Do Something About Climate Change

At this point, we’ve all heard the words “climate change” or “global warming” at one point in our lives, and now more frequently.

Many of us ignore it, or claim that it isn’t real. Others of us just aren’t sure what is is, and the effect that it truly has. Some just don’t care.

If you fall in any of the above categories, you should definitely change your thoughts right away.

In case you didn’t know it, CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL! There’s no doubt in the minds of scientists and people who bother in simply looking at the evidence.

We are a huge part of the cause, and now we are feeling the effects every day.

Those warmer winters? Not by mistake.

Those droughts and fires? Not by accident.

What about that sea level rise, those melting ice caps, those species losing their homes, those drinking water shortages?

NOT CAUSED BY NOTHING.

I’ve said it 1000 times and I’ll say it again: CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL!

There’s no excuse to not do something, there’s nothing stopping you from doing something.

Twenty-five years ago, it was normal and understandable to doubt climate change, but now, if you doubt climate change- you’re simply fooling yourself.

Deep down, you know it’s real, but for some reason, you choose to call it out as “lies” and “a joke.”

What’s the point in doing that?

Helping to deal with the climate change problem isn’t going to hurt you.

In fact, you’re just going to be hurting the Earth, yourself, and your future relatives by denying that it’s real.

You should be scared. You should be worried. You should want to do something.

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be educated about climate change and access to the facts needed, and the ways they can make a difference.

There’s no point in not doing something.

You don’t need to be obsessed with animals and in love with EVERYTHING in nature to want to save the Earth!

Because everything and everyone you love on Earth will be affected.

To all of the people who have the attitude “let others deal with it” and are too lazy to do something, you are the ones that are continuing the issue.

We are the last generation that can do something about climate change, and also the first to be feeling its effects.

It’s up to us. Years ago, people had the attitude of disbelief, and now things are much worse.

If I were you, I would not breeze over any information about climate change or take it lightly.

Because you can, because it matters, make a change. Spread the word, make a change in your personal life, DO SOMETHING! Make the change to stop the change.
